The arxiv.org editors filed Theory of the Elementary Particles (PDF) by E.L. Koschmieder not in the desirable hep-th but instead banished it to the "General Physics" garbage dump.

I believe that the words "pseudoscientist crackpot" is quite true and do not recommend you to learn about his physics.

Tiggerjay scrubs El Naschie from talk page

The redacted material, which was observed by El Naschie Watch contributor PassingByAgain to be written by El Naschie himself notwithstanding El Naschie's use of the sockpuppet name "M. Abdel-Hamid" has been deleted by Wikipedian editor Tiggerjay.

But this is El Naschie Watch, and El Naschie Watch never forgets.

Why did they do it? Ordinary cowardice?

Ikhwan impersonating Jihan Fadel

Zeinobia of Egyptian Chronicles reports that Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood is using fake social media accounts mimicking celebrities to spread pro-Morsi views. Below the fold, in Arabic only, is a video of Jihan Fadel disavowing fake tweets.

Zeinobia mentions in passing that Jihan's husband died, which I did not know. I believe she was married to fashion designer Amr Hamdi and had three children.

Update: I see from Googling that Amr Hamdi died on July 13, 2012 of a heart attack. It was unexpected.

El Naschie outraged at Wikipedia article

Reader PassingByAgain directs our attention to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Adhamwaleed and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Tiggerjay#Mohamed_El_Naschie where amazing screeds by El Naschie and sockpuppet M. Abdel-Hamid are found. We reproduce these in full below the fold.

PassingByAgain tells us that

The content of this article is highly misleading and almost defamatory. This is CV of a person and not the opinion who wish the person ill and who are in unfair competition with him in the Court of Justice. For instance, the person concerned was not represented by any lawyer in Court while Nature-Macmillan the multi-national employed an army of solicitors and paid 5 million pounds to defend the non-defensible. So the case went ahead, Macmillan won, and El Naschie owes them about £1.5 million for their legal costs. --Jason] Writing things about people and damaging their professional reputation without any information that is substantiated lacks in professionalism and undermines Wikipedia's reputation. You say encyclopedia content must be verifiable. Have you verified the information you got about Prof. Mohamed El Naschie? Saying he does not have a Doctorate is pathetic. I trust it is best not to follow what bloggers say because they are not a reliable source of any information. Many of them are hired to defame for money for instance the criminal who runs El naschiewatch and his name is Jason and he is a criminal. It is best to stick to facts and the facts are definitely not contained in what bloggers write. You must have reliable sources. Mohamed El Naschie has been subjected to an incredible vicious campaign to undermine his scientific findings. You even mention his thesis cannot be found? How little do you know. His thesis is there and he has a Doctorate and he had a full professorship. Please please before writing check your sources and verify the information. For instance he just made an historic announcement in Shanghai and Alexandria about an extension and correction of Einstein's famous theory on Relativity.

Nature published upon their instigation through a corrupt journalist a defamatory article about me. I took them to court and not the other way round. I had no solicitor representing me and our ordeal has not ended yet. The case is still in the court of appeal. They were trying to wiggle out by all means. However they had only mean namely infinite amount of money. To protect their reputation and pretend they had not employed thieves and criminals in their organization, Nature had to spend 5 million pound sterling according to the testimony of everybody and one 1.5 million pound according to their own admission in the open court of justice, take your pick. Chaos, Solitons & Fractals is a journal which I have founded after I was already well established and a well known Engineer. It is one of hundreds of things which I have done and is not the most important in my career. Science was my hobby and nothing more. I am a Professor of Engineering and a practicing Engineer and I had been very successful in both. Also in my hobby science, I do not think any 70 years old hobby theoretical physicist could hope for more than what I have achieved. I have revised and extended Einstein’s celebrated equation E = mcsquare (for some reason the correct equation is not appearing here). [Notice it's not El Naschie being a doofus. It's the equation failing to appear.] I have also established a quantum relativity i.e. quantum gravity formula E = mcsquare/22 (equation fails to appear). The 22 which I found using Bosonic String theory of Veneziano and Nambu can explain easily dark energy away. The fact is 1/22 is 4.5% approximately. Consequently the measurement of Perlmutter, Schmidt and Riess for which they got the Nobel Prize last year (2011) confirms my formula. In other words there is no missing energy in the cosmos. However there is a missing factor in Einstein’s equation. How many other scientists old or young you know have developed a quantum relativity formula unifying quantum mechanics and relativity? I thought this is the aspect which Wikipedia should be concentrating upon and not the gossip and malicious lies of a pack of rats like Jason and the like. El Naschie refutes Einstein

Arabic Wikipedia latest

This is an update to International Wikipedia tension.

The pending edits to that Arabic Wikipedia page for Mohamed El Naschie (محمد النشائي) are still blocked. The links to El Naschie Watch and to the English Wikipedia article have not been made.

However, and this is very odd, a new page has ben created: Mohamed Salah El Naschie (محمد صلاح النشائي). It is full of familiar false claims about the Great Man. False affiliations, false awards, you name it. Here's Google's translation into English.

It is an orphan page, not linking to or from any other page. But since it can be found by Google, it's doing its job of disinformation adequately from El Naschie's standpoint.

Rover Curiosity lands on Mars

Abstract: The two most important steps in application of the homotopy perturbation method are to construct a suitable homotopy equation and to choose a suitable initial guess. The homotopy equation should be such constructed that when the homotopy parameter is zero, it can approximately describe the solution property, and the initial solution can be chosen with an unknown parameter, which is determined after one or two iterations. This paper suggests an alternative approach to construction of the homotopy equation with an auxiliary term; Dufing equation is used as an example to illustrate the solution procedure

Porndog Mohamed Mustafa posts two more videos!

Mohamed Mustafa a.k.a. Scorpion300100 a.k.a. Scorpion300 (a.k.a. David on the dormant E-Infinity - High Energy Communications blog) uploaded these to YouTube a few hours before Shrink's devastating exposé and posted them to the M.S. El Naschie Scientific Homepage a few hours after the exposé, if I have the times figured out properly. The one above is in English! It's another appearance of the Great Man on the Breakfast Show. The length is 53:43. The host introduces El Naschie as "a famous and world-renowned nuclear scientist", and El Naschie answers not "thank you" as always, but wistfully "I hope so". His confidence is shaken. The host doesn't know what to make of that answer.

This next video has description لقاء مع الدكتور محمد صلاح الدين النشائى فى قناة المحروسة or "Interview with Dr. Mohamed Salahuddin El Naschie on El Mahrousa channel". It's in Arabic without subtitles. Length is 13:21.

Outrage! El Naschie snubbed for Milner Prize

The amazing thing about the references of the first three articles is that they don’t contain any research paper for Witten. Finally, the great man realized his mistake and put a reference for Witten in the fourth one (the most recent one). But the man didn’t acknowledge who pointed out to him this bug in his program which he used to generate papers (Backreaction blog [comment archived here]). Any way this a good step, at least the references are now correctly produced. Unfortunately you still need further improvement in your code that seems has a serious problem with E. Witten. Although you referred to a paper of Witten the program has produced a wrong title for it. In the references list we find

While the correct title turned out to be, as you can check yourself:

Ouch! It seems 'Scorpion300100' is the blogger Mohamed Mustafa who posts about the Great Man and links to videos posted by himself on YouTube under the alias 'Scorpion300100'. Nevertheless I think Jason's hypothesis that Scorpion300 is Amr can be true in a way. I found entries on Wikipedia's Talk Pages by 'Scorpion300' from which it's clear this alias has been used for sockpuppetry:

The first entry is the known sockpuppet claim (I MYSELF, WITH MY OWN EARS, heard him say "If this is proven completely, this is a Nobel Prize'') which was signed by Amr under the Telegraph article (if I’m not mistaken Jason deduced from this that Scorpion300 is Amr [Yes, and also see below. -Jason]):

But in the second entry 'Scorpion300' pretends to be Asser Zaky (knowing the Great Man for 40 years).

My hypothesis is that Mohamed Mustafa is under the aliases 'Scorpion300' or 'Scorpion300100' all the time but which also served as sockpuppets (e.g., for Amr) when needed.

OK, Shrink hit that one out of the park. I'll just add a couple of comments.

Another reason to believe Amr has used the Scorpion300 alias is that Scorpion300 says in the first person that he has picked up Mohamed's other brother, Said, at the Riadh airport, got shoes from him as a present, and had various family squabbles with him. The alias apparently has been used by more than one El Naschie sock puppet.

One final remark. The Scorpion300100 who posts to YouTube is such a good source of El Naschie videos that he must be getting them from El Naschie or from Amr. Four more posted on Mohamed Mustafa's blog. I can barely keep up. All are in Arabic without subtitles, and all were uploaded to YouTube by Scorpion300100. The one above is titled الدكتور محمد النشائى وبرنامج مصر بتتغير على القناة المصرية الفضائية or "Dr. Mohamed El Naschie and Egypt Ptngar [?] program on Egyptian satellite channel". Length 50:11.

This next one is الدكتور محمد النشائى وبرنامج فى العمق or "Dr. Mohamed El Naschie and in-depth program". Length 53:42.

Here's a just-uploaded video that doesn't have El Naschie in it — which will make him furious. It begins with a slideshow featuring Nobel Prize winning chemist Ahmed Zewail meeting various Egyptian bigwigs. I recognize SCAF leader Tantawi, President Morsy, and Pope Shenouda.


El Naschie, unless he has thought the better of it in light of the Nature debacle, is suing Zewail for stealing his ideas. Haha! Really, you can't make this stuff up.

El Naschie: Cancel "specialized councils"

Several Egyptian news outlets are carrying versions of the same story. See for example akhbarak.net in the original Arabic or Google's English translation.

Apparently there are some scientific advisory councils in Egypt, and since El Naschie isn't on them, of course he disapproves of them. The charlatan is completely transparent. He takes whatever positions he thinks will benefit him. That's why he opposes Ahmed Zewail — because Zewail knows El Naschie's a make-believe scientist.

El Naschie desperately wants a scientific cabinet position or a government grant. That's why he keeps talking about his ludicrous "nanotechnology project". El Naschie is not a particle physicist, not a nuclear scientist or engineer, and he is not a nanotechnologist either. He is a pretend scientist.

His ability to keep getting ink and air time is amazing. By now many Egyptians in the media and in academia know the truth about him, but they do little more than ignore him on that account. There is no appetite to pursue and expose him. Being rich is undoubtedly a help to him.

His brother Amr, a.k.a. Scorpion300, remains steadfastly behind Mohamed, even after the humiliating loss to Nature and the public pronouncement that Mohamed's papers are crap, unpublishable except in a vanity journal. He knows Mohamed is a fraud. And yet at 16:20 in the Breakfast Show video Amr refers to Mohamed as "my much more distinguished brother". Earlier in the broadcast Mohamed had called Amr "one of the most distinguished scientists in the United States in earthquake engineering". Who is the head of Amr's department, I wonder. They should be informed about Amr's enthusiasm for crackpottery.

EL NASCHIE VIDEO IN ENGLISH!

Yes, the Great Man is interviewed in English! This is a delightful first for El Naschie Watch.

The video was uploaded just today by YouTube user NileInternationalTV. The sound quality is mediocre and a little out of synch, but it's understandable.

The title suggests this was broadcast on January 26, but I think that's a mistake. I think it's brand new, because the scrolling banner has headlines relating to the Olympics in London which are getting started just now.

At 5:40 he starts insulting Ahmed Zewail's City of Science and Technology. He says the name change from Nile University is American propaganda. At 13:20 he says he told President Morsy "Please, look into this nonsense of, quote, Zewail City." The "quote" is a dismissive scare-quote.
